「We are the lovers of summer」

mon tiroir x Lukasz Wierzbowski Collaborative Art Project

「Our bodies are like a screening room, surrounded by emotions and stories.」

mon tiroir invited Polish photographer Lukasz Wierzbowski to take us back to his parents' house and the nearby forest, to shoot in his unusual way: in a private environment, with exposed skin, strange postures, humour, and appropriate spontaneity and etc. to open the time capsule together and experience a more intimate visual relationship.

"When it comes to stories the Zaneta's leg of the photo shoot was made in my parent's house, where I grew up, few hours away from Wroclaw, city where I currently live. Together with Zaneta, Marek and my dog called Wtorek we have spent a lovely day at my old house wandering around surroundings that I grew up in. We played around in my old rooms as well as the garden, much beloved by my dog. After we finished the photos he helped my mum to replant the flowers in the garden, and had lovely afternoon snack. It was fun to revisit old places, that very much inspired me to become a photographer.”
